At the first visit at Nordwestbahnhof I, as a proper architecture student, began to see the future constructions. To tell you the truth I was picturing my own design because I do not know the projects that are going to be built there. What I was sure of was that they, the architects, would never propose to build houses on the railroad, in between the trains or on the trains. What a waste of Nordwestbahnhof I thought. The identity of this place will soon disappear under the houses and its story will be forgotten. So I went further, took some shots and decided that if they would not build houses on trains, PS will. Together we embarked on a quest of reviving the train station. The Ikea 2012 catalog seemed to be the best for the Nordwestbahnhof situation, because they try to say they are suited for every house, every location. And every house, every location has a little touch of Ikea, so why not Nordwestbahnhof as well. The album is the story of pretty life in rough surroundings.
